Health & Safety Specialist

You will monitor and administer our health and safety programs by advising and training managers, supervisors, and associates about responsibilities, rights, and duties. Skilful in research and developing workplace health and safety best practices, you will guide, coach, and coordinate our joint health and safety committee, compile detailed statistical and graphical analysis of injury trending, and develop related solutions. You will also act as liaison for related government agencies and take responsibility for the strict adherence of our legal department’s compliance policies, internal control procedures, AGCO control specifications, and casino policies and procedures. You have a degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, at least five years’ directly related experience, and demonstrated success creating, developing, and implementing an effective health and safety program. Optimizing superior leadership, analytical, project management, and organizational abilities, you are committed to confidentiality and have solid computer skills including MS Publisher and Office and ideally a CRSP designation.
