A small faced passed high-end management consulting firm is seeking an HSE Management Consultant who is motivated and dynamic to assist in consulting engagements on a national basis. The position is contract based with the location being negotiable and will involve travel. The position may be turned into a permanent position.

Nature of the Work Activities:
Projects vary by client needs, however, primarily activities will involve the co-ordination, development and implementation of a variety of health and safety programs, procedures and plans for clients. Developing written procedures will be a key function including hazard and risk assessment, training and incident management. You will need to work closely with all levels of client’s organization to improve and maintain occupational health and safety management at their company.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you have a post secondary degree in relevant area or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Three to five years of related experience in health and safety management at a junior or intermediate level. You have continuing education in Occupational Health and Safety programs. Preference will be given to those who possess the designation of Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or have a degree in Occupational Health Safety.

Re-numeration is negotiable based on experience and skill sets.
