Application Process Schedule

• Application Deadlines (Application – original plus one copy; supporting documentation for Factors 1, 2 and 3; one Professional Practice Questionnaire, one Professional Reference Questionnaire and application fee must be received at the BCRSP office by this date.)
  Late submissions will be held for the next QRC meeting.
• Qualifications Review Committee (QRC) Meetings (The QRC meets four times each year to conduct an initial assessment of applications. Candidate is advised if application is to be forwarded to Regional Screening Centre for interview or if there is some issue regarding the application that needs to be addressed.)
• Regional Screening Centre (RSC) Interviews (Conducted at one of the Board’s 29 RSCs across Canada. Verifies information on application, resolves any questions that may have been raised by the QRC assessment.)
• CRSPEX Dates (Once recommended by the RSC, candidates have two years in which to sit the CRSPEX for the first time. Unsuccessful candidates may have up to three supplementary writings over the two year period following their first unsuccessful attempt). With the implementation of Computer Based Testing (CBT), applicants will have a two week window (Monday-Friday) in which to take the exam at an approved testing centre. Applicants will be notified of designated centres and exam schedules once they have been approved to write the exam. Please note that some travel to a testing centre location may be required.
