The City of Thorold, located in the Niagara Region, has an opening for a Health & Safety Specialist. Reporting to the Total Rewards Administrator, the position is responsible for overseeing and implementation of the City’s Health & Safety program, and acts as the Alternate CEMC on the Emergency Management Team. In addition, the position is responsible for assisting with Corporate Communications.

- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Health & Safety.
- Health & Safety (CRSP) Certification
- Emergency Management Certification(s)
- Human Resources Management Degree or diploma preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of employment and Health & Safety legislation
- Strong interpersonal skills.
