66 OHS Professionals Receive the CRSP® Certification

The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) is pleased to announce 66 occupational health and safety (OHS) professionals have recently been granted the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)® certification.

The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) is pleased to announce 46 individuals were awarded the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST®) certification on September 30, 2022. 

The CRST® certification was introduced in 2018 to support the evolving needs of industry. The CRST® certification process requires individuals to meet qualification standards, including education and experience requirements, pass the CRST Examination, and stay up to date through a continuous professional development process.

IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility) Task Force 

The Chair of the IDEA task force attended the 2022 Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) conference and participated in diversity and inclusion sessions. BCRSP is in the process of reviewing and implementing the best practices from this conference. It is very encouraging to be able to participate and gain insights to emerging issues in the realm of IDEA.
